CAMP INCENTIVE GRANT APPLICATION
The Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation, in partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp, the Jewish Funders’ Network, the Sally Fine Overnight Camp Scholarships Fund and local philanthropists, has funds available for Jewish children planning to attend not-for-profit Jewish overnight camps for the summer of 2010.
Parent(s) and child(ren) must have resided full-time in Sarasota or Manatee County for the past year, as of December 18, 2009, and must be legal residents of the United States. The grant money may not be used for a deposit. Parents must provide proof of camp deposit for each child before any funds will be released by the Federation.
Funds will be distributed by February 15, 2010, and will be paid directly to the camp. All grant money is available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will generally be distributed as follows:

1st time to Jewish overnight camp* $1,000 per child
2nd time $1,000 per child
3rd time or more $500 per child
* May not have previously attended Jewish overnight camp
for a duration of three weeks or longer.
